Shadowcrest is in the
College Station Police
Department's Sector C,
Beat 70, supervised by
Sgt. Danny Junek
(979) 764-6232
The city is divided into three sectors, with each sector under the command of a Police
Lieutenant. The sectors are divided into beats with a total of eight beats. A Patrol
Sergeant is assigned to each beat. The Sergeant has primary responsibility for quality of
life and crime issues affecting their assigned beats. Patrol Officers are assigned to beats
for periods of not less than one year so that they can become familiar with their area of
responsibility.
Any issue affecting a particular sector or beat can be brought to the appropriate
supervisor for attention. A picture of the Beat Sergeant and Sector Lieutenant are located
within the beat links to provide a face and name to the supervisor responsible for that
area.
The College Station Police Department can be most effective when working in partnership
with stakeholders in the problem solving process. This structure will help in building
effective partnerships and as always we welcome input, feedback and support from our
community.

Covenants and Restrictions
Sections I - III
As announced at the last annual meeting and with the annual dues notice, the
declaration of covenants & restrictions for sections I, II, and III in our HOA are up for
their review (excludes section 9 Concord ). The original restrictions were written
over 30 years ago and as you can imagine, a lot has changed over the past 30 years.
The Board began this process at the last annual meeting by collecting feedback from
residents. After getting resident feedback, the Board reviewed the current restrictions
from various local neighborhoods such as Castlegate, Pebble Creek, Indian Lakes,
and Emerald Forest to get ideas of how to improve our restrictions for current times.
After a comprehensive review of our restrictions verses other more current
restrictions the Board made draft changes to several sections of the document
incorporating homeowner feedback and recommendations from a lawyer who
specializes in real estate law.
The next step in the process will be a final comment and review period for HOA
members to offer additional feedback and suggestions pertaining to the draft
document which will be made available here at our website or can be requested from
Association Services.
Final Review Period open until May 9th.

Voting: Section III: Wed May 23 600-800 pm 1402 Millcreek Ct.
Board Members will be going door to door between May 27-29 collecting
signatures votes from homeowners unable to attend one of the above
scheduled times for their section.

SUMMARY SHADOWCREST SEC. I SECTION II SECTION III
Scott & White and The Med
Both local hospital anchors continue their work on expansion. The Med recently celebrated the opening of
its newly expanded emergency center, adding five new beds and significantly decreasing emergency room
wait times. Scott & White continues to progress in the construction of their new hospital which is slated to
open in 2013.
May 10, 2012 FOUND: WELCH PEMBROKE CORGI
Reddish color with white, Red collar, No tags
The dog was found walking the 1300 block of Woodcreek Dr. not
seemingly in distress, but showing signs of not knowing where he was. It's
obviously a well-taken-care-of pet as he is clean and neat and very
friendly
If this is your dog or you know the dog's owner, call Keith at 979-224-0633
